With more than fifteen years of clinical experience, Dr. Varun has cared for patients across India, Canada, and the United States. His career has included private practice ownership, military dentistry, community outreach, academic training, and advanced clinical education, giving him a broad perspective on both the clinical and human sides of dentistry.

His passion for the profession began with a personal experience during childhood. Watching his grandmother struggle with tooth loss and declining oral health showed him how deeply oral health can affect confidence, nutrition, and overall well-being. That experience shaped his desire to help others maintain healthy smiles and receive the care they deserve.

Dr. Varun's approach is grounded in creating a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and participating in their treatment decisions. Whether caring for a child experiencing their first dental visit, supporting a patient with dental anxiety, or restoring a smile affected by disease or injury, he combines a gentle manner with careful attention to detail.

His experience as a Major in the Indian Army Dental Corps further strengthened his commitment to service and responsibility. During his military career, he provided comprehensive dental care to soldiers, veterans, and their families while working in an environment where professionalism, adaptability, and trust were essential. These experiences continue to influence the way he approaches patient relationships and clinical care.

Dr. Varun earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and continues to expand his knowledge through continuing education. His clinical interests include comprehensive general dentistry, evidence-based treatment, digital dentistry, and patient education. He believes modern dentistry is most effective when advanced technology and scientific knowledge are combined with clear communication and a personalized approach.

Throughout his career, Dr. Varun has received recognition for leadership, professionalism, service, and ethical patient care. His honors include the Horace Wells Senior Student Award in Dental Anesthesiology, Dean's List recognition, and recognition for outstanding leadership and service at Boston University. He was also recognized for his work on ethics and professionalism through his award-winning video, The Greedy Cavity, which was featured on the American Dental Association's official YouTube channel. While these accomplishments have been meaningful milestones, Dr. Varun finds the greatest satisfaction in seeing patients become more comfortable with their oral health and confident in their care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Varun enjoys spending time with his family and embracing his role as a proud father to his young son. He remains committed to lifelong learning and regularly follows developments in dentistry to continue bringing current knowledge and techniques to his patients.
